Where did you go to college/school?
Attended UC Berkeley and got a B.S in Mechanical Engineering. Worked in commercial construction managment for 4 years. Then went to CIA Greystone in Napa.
What was your first job in hospitality?
First job in hospitality was working a small place called Noodle Theory while I was in college.
What was your last job before Whitfood?
AM Fish Roast at Gramercy Tavern.
Where did you grow up?
Orange County, California
What’s your favorite childhood memory of food?
I was raised by my grandmother so I always remember helping her make tonkatsu. I would flip the pork.
What’s your favorite thing to cook on your days off?
Where’s the next place you want to travel?
Italy or Thailand.
If you weren’t working in restaurants, what would you be doing?
Probably in tech.
