Where did you go to college/school?
Grand Valley State University for my Bachelors, and I am finishing up my Master’s at NYU!
What was your first job in hospitality?
I worked at a family friend’s hot dog restaurant the summer in between my freshman and sophomore year of college.
What was your last job before Whitfood?
I worked at a restaurant in Michigan called Reserve Wine & Food.
Where did you grow up?
Grand Rapids, Michigan
What’s your favorite childhood memory of food?
It is not necessarily my favorite, but my actual first memory I have is choking on a PB &J when I was like 2 or 3.

If you weren’t working in restaurants, what would you be doing?
I would still be working with food, but most likely in academia or policy/research.
Fiction or nonfiction?
Very hard choice, but I have always had a knack for history and biographies, so non-fiction.
